Tupac x Tyson | One Night In Vegas
We already know the events of the night. The same story has been told numerous times on VH1 and FUSE, but we get a different perspective – a different story. This should definitely be a lot more interesting than other documentaries, hearing what Tyson has to say on it.
ESPN 30 for 30 documents two of the most controversial figures in public media of the 90s in a film, One Night In Vegas. The documentary centers around the events of September 7th 1996 when ‘Pac was shot, after attending the Tyson v. Sheldon bout, and the relationship between the two. One Night In Vegas airs on the 14th anniversary [09.07.10] of Tupac’s death.

NEC Finals: QU Bobcats x R. Morris
I can’t even express how tight I am. We was suppose to win that game! James Feldeine was going off, the stroke was look’n good for the night [pause], but it wasn’t enough. Rutty, J. Johnson, Twyman – everybody came out to get that NCAA bid. Even the student’s was out there front lining. The student section was more packed than it ever been. I don’t know if I would’ve been more upset if they won and I couldn’t rush the court with the student body or the fact we lost our first home game in the finals. Watch’n Robert Morris players rush the court at the end had me heated. I don’t know what happened in the end though man..
Let’s get it next season fellas!!!

Video: Lebron James, More Than A Game
I don’t know if it’s cold in the room, or if it’s the film. Featuring NBA great, Lebron James as himself, More Than A Game goes for inspirational and never backs down. More Than A Game takes a group of five guys from inner city Ohio and puts them on a long hard road to a national championship.
In theaters October 2nd
The G.O.A.T., Michael Jordan
The best to ever do it. The G.O.A.T. (greatest of all-time), Michael Jordan was inducted into the Hall of Fame Sept. 11, 2009; but don’t think he’s ready to go into the pasture and graze, as he described to Michael Wilbon. In Jordan’s induction speech, MJ’s thank you list went well beyond friends and family. There was the coach who cut him. The player who dissed him. The media who doubted him.
Anyone who ever provided Jordan with motivation to become a better player.
When I watched MJ’s induction speech, I thought back to when my brothers, Chris, Al, and I would watch the games out in the living room. Every time we got out the house and stepped on the court we tried to emulate MJ, everyone in Wingate did, whether it was on the monkey bars, tryna Rock-the-Cradle with our tongues out, or on the courts tryna hit that last shot.
Conversation with Michael Wilbon after the jump.
Pride in Pin Stripes
Derek Jeter has tied the New York Yankees record for hits held by Lou Gehrig. Jeter singled in the seventh inning for his third hit Wednesday night against Tampa Bay, matching Gehrig with 2,721 hits in a Yankees uniform.
Sometime this week, Derek Jeter will break Lou Gehrig’s record for all time hits as a Yankee.
When Jeter does so, he will have accomplished the feat at the New Yankee Stadium–and it will be the first historic Yankee moment unrelated to the Stadium itself to occur there.
