Primitive x Justene Jaro
So apparently some sneaker called the Nike Air Max 90 Infrared re-released on the 24th or something like that.. I’ll cop if they come with Justene already in ‘em.
Bodega x Converse Poorman Weapon, ish is REAL!
I’m hoping when my check comes I could order these if they not sold out already. I wanted to get some some boots for the rainy spring season but these would be better to open up with. Bodega and Converse have come together again and created these. Transforming the original silhouette into a super high-top that can be worn rolled down..which has been done before..but hasn’t looked this good.
A release is set for Saturday, March 13th at Bodega. The shoe will come in a custom ballistic nylon case lined with shearling. An etched flask will be included for those over 21 years of age. This pack retails for $120 USD, is limited to 100 sets and contains all the elements necessary for surviving the long winter and wet spring.
See more after the jump.
Vans Vault Spring/Summer 2010 Switchback LX
I might have to treat myself to both colorways – y’all know how I love my earth tones.
This Holiday season the Vans Vault Switchback has been a welcome addition and was well received. For Spring/Summer 2010 the sneaker returns in two colorways. One comes in an aged brown leather, the other one in a light brown/dark brown leather colorway, both looking very solid. It’s the perfect sneaker for Spring, up until it gets warmer.

Cool looking visuals (especially those magic Dunks) from the animated motion film Sigg Jones. See an interview on Sneakerfreaker
@ Sole Food x Life is ART
Sorry for the delayed write-up, “Can I Kick It?” hosted by OSE., Yaz & Rizz22, and Sole Food NYC was different from what I expected. It was definitely a private affair, but I think I preferred it that way. For the first time, I got to see Pesu and Rizz22′s art. The atmos was very chill and the musiq was jumpin’. Old-Soulz and Sole Food hosted a knockout event, for me at least. Definitely the crowd I’d like to be around. “Can I Kick It?” was a sweet blend between street art and sneakers.
I met another artist and designer while I was there, See One. Cool dude! Two of my good friends came along for the ride, Sade and Nia. I hope they had a good time like I did. I really wish I had my business card to give them. I’m looking to get in touch with OSE. in the future, maybe I can get some support. Keep It Surreal!
CLAE Russell, SWEET!
If I can’t find the Creative Recreation’s I published a little while back, I’m definitely getting these CLAE Russell Lichen Ballistic (bottom) as an alternative, laced up the same way! Also, the Russell Pavement Ballistic (top) is looking good for the summer, I need some simplicity in my life and some new kicks. My sneaker has been slacking in the recent months. “The Russell is the thinking man’s mid-top. Its supple leather lining and the cloud-like feel of a custom molded foot-bed will have your feet feeling like they are flying high.” NEED!
