Bio Motion Lab Demo Walker

For those of you studying or interested in animation, here’s a handy tool for walk cycles. From Bio Motion Labs come a Flash application that simulates a person walking. Various options are given, such as how feminine or masculine you want it to be, weight, and even if the person is walking nervously or relaxed. It’s a wonderful tool, and an indispensable for someone studying animation and walk cycles.

Yep. That’s a glass alright

Look’n at it from all perspectives. A lot of people see it just as that [Yep. It's a glass alright] and because it doesn’t effect them directly it’s not a social problem, in which that is true. One man’s solution is another man’s problem. But when we stop caring we lose our humanity. All I’m say’n is at least be aware and have a take on it.

Keep It Surreal approves. “There’s a funny [relief] tee in here somewhere..” #KanyeShrug

Bodega x Converse Poorman Weapon, ish is REAL!

I’m hoping when my check comes I could order these if they not sold out already. I wanted to get some some boots for the rainy spring season but these would be better to open up with. Bodega and Converse have come together again and created these. Transforming the original silhouette into a super high-top that can be worn rolled down..which has been done before..but hasn’t looked this good.
A release is set for Saturday, March 13th at Bodega. The shoe will come in a custom ballistic nylon case lined with shearling. An etched flask will be included for those over 21 years of age. This pack retails for $120 USD, is limited to 100 sets and contains all the elements necessary for surviving the long winter and wet spring.

See more after the jump.

NEC Finals: QU Bobcats x R. Morris

I can’t even express how tight I am. We was suppose to win that game! James Feldeine was going off, the stroke was look’n good for the night [pause], but it wasn’t enough. Rutty, J. Johnson, Twyman – everybody came out to get that NCAA bid. Even the student’s was out there front lining. The student section was more packed than it ever been. I don’t know if I would’ve been more upset if they won and I couldn’t rush the court with the student body or the fact we lost our first home game in the finals. Watch’n Robert Morris players rush the court at the end had me heated. I don’t know what happened in the end though man..

Let’s get it next season fellas!!!

3.10.10

I’m still play’n around with this tilt shift photography, bare with me. This dude, haha, wasn’t suppose to be in this shot but it happens to look good. We was all over the Lower x Soho look’n at the other designs out there, talk’n about our projects and jus kick’n it.

Korg

I was in the Lower today with some of my cohorts, good times. I was mess’n around with the tripod at Jay’s crib for a little when I took this photo. On top of that, I want to learn to play the piano; I’m going to mess around with the synthesizer next. Making beats, who knows? I haven’t used one, but why not try it. Enjoi!

Save St. James School

I went out to St. Patrick’s Cathedral on Sunday to demonstrate and rally with current current St. James students and faculty. After all these years, the Archdiocese is CLOSING one of NYC historical Catholic schools!!! We need to show our support & help out – if not 300 CHILDREN WILL BE DISPLACED. As a St. James alumnus, I for one, am truly hurt and will do what I can to help. Anyone out there who can understand the situation – PLEASE SHOW YOUR SUPPORT!!! A culturally diverse school is being taken over to be transformed into another Transfiguration, which by the way, happens to be filled with 90% of Buddhists.

The 213 students at St. James – which opened in 1854 – are being allowed to attend nearby St. Joseph’s school as part of a merger between both parishes to save money.

The roughly 70 or so parents and teachers were also protesting the closing of St. Patrick’s Old Cathedral School on Mott Street in Little Italy, which opened in 1822 and is the oldest Catholic school in the city.

Same Effort for Chile

An 8.8 earthquake hit just off the coast of Chile early Saturday morning, killing at least 122 people and creating tsunami warnings in more than 50 countries across the Pacific ocean. Thousands are believed to have been left homeless due to the widespread destruction of buildings.

BIZY DREAM’N

What’s happen’n y’all? I’ve neglected my audience, we’ve neglected our audience. School’s been killing me so much that I’ve kinda let our direction veer a little off-track. As a result, I decided to put everything on hold for a little while to start back in March. We still have a few loose end to knot up, but we’ll be going through it while still keeping up to date with the happen’n.

Also, I’ve been restructuring Bizy Dreaming, now Bizy Dream’n. A lot lately has been about change and about research. Before, I think Bizy Dreaming was too stiff. Where’s my personality in that? The simple change is due to how I text. I truncate my -ing’s, not by much, with -’n. Here it goes. I hope y’all feel this one.

Graphic Design: Bizy Dreaming logo (revived)

I’ve been working on my resume to try to get everything back in order. Your resume is a reflection of you and I was looking really lazy and not capable of taking on any jobs. The original Bizy Dreaming logo didn’t last for long with me, I guess it wasn’t that good of a logo. As I was working on my resume I really wanted to add a piece of me in there and Bizy Dreaming is something I conceived, I toiled and try to endure, so I changed the logo from something stiff to something with more character. Y’all like?

Check out the old logo after the jump.

Hass Grotesk

Helvetica’s creators, Max Miedinger and Eduard Hoffmann, would have never imagined that their sans serif masterpiece could become one of the world’s design classics. “Neue Hass Grotesk”, its original name

Video: How to Make It in America x KiD CuDi

“How to Make It in America follows two enterprising Brooklyn twentysomethings as they hustle their way through New York City, determined to achieve the American Dream. Trying to make a name for themselves in New York’s competitive fashion scene, Ben Epstein (Greenberg) and his friend and business partner Cam Calderon (Rasuk) use their street knowledge and connections to bring their ambitions to fruition. With the help of Cam’s cousin Rene (Guzman), who is trying to market his own high-energy drink, and their well-connected friend Domingo (“Kid Cudi”), the burgeoning entrepreneurs set out to make it big, encountering obstacles along the way that will require all their ingenuity to overcome”.

“How to Make It in America,” HBO’s new dollar and a dream series premieres February 14. I don’t know too much about the film, but a story about struggle, ambition, and determination plotted in Brooklyn, NY gains my attention and anticipation for something exciting.

Teaser after the jump.

Art Adds

500 taxi cabs in the Big Apple will be ditching the familiar garbage ad’s ie: strip-club and vodka advertisements featured on their rooftop billboards. Instead, work by artists such as Shirin Neshat, Alex Katz, and Yoko Ono will be lighting up the city. Props to Show Media, who are the owners of the ad space, and John Amato, Show’s part-owner and art fan.

Gett’n Messy

Still work’n guys… I don’t want to ruin the surprise, y’all better like it or at least kill me with your honesty! “He’s better only cause he had better positioning.” I’ma change my position and eat the competition (and no I did not intend to rhyme). It was NICEEE though, right?

Video: Gallis/Sassa Step

I had to get back to basics for a little bit and digress from the mainstream musiq. Originally, my fam and I are from Jamaica; and this type of musiq and dance is typical of our culture. The song is a sell off!

Jermaine Squad took over the dancehall!

Elegance at its finest

So every once in awhile you see a shoe that takes your breath away. These shoes resemble elegance and compliment your loftier personality. That’s how I felt when I seen the Burberry Lace up shoe. The shoes are from the 2010 Burberry Prorsum Collection. The dark patent leather with the soft leather really makes this shoe. These shoes are a classy pair and can be worn either suited up or casually. I definitely need these in the lineup

Blakout!

Blakout! – Chad Harris

A little something I ended up work’n on today. This wasn’t the concept I visualized, started with, or even thought to go in this direction, however I began to stick with me as I was work’n on some Clean Mess stuff. Clean Mess? I’ll save that for another article. I digress, nevertheless, the abstract subtleties are specifically placed but they look completely random. I still need to add more work to this project – look out for it.

NOIR

(Click the picture above to download and make your day better.)

Erick “Arc” Elliott presents “Noir.”  In the midst of a game full of  ’rappers’ who are more concerned with singing their verses or convincing us all that they are an alien from another planet, it’s refreshing to sit down and hear a tape full of nothing short of straight forward, heart felt, authentic rap.  No gimmicks, no nonsense-just the voice of a hungry, 21 year old, MC from Flatbush Brooklyn relating his day to day to the listener over some beautiful original production from The Remedy + (!!) and Flash Frequency Music.

Personally, I love this composition! Download to see what I’m talking about. Make me happy knowing you made a good choice, haha.

Vans Vault Spring/Summer 2010 Switchback LX

I might have to treat myself to both colorways – y’all know how I love my earth tones.

This Holiday season the Vans Vault Switchback has been a welcome addition and was well received. For Spring/Summer 2010 the sneaker returns in two colorways. One comes in an aged brown leather, the other one in a light brown/dark brown leather colorway, both looking very solid. It’s the perfect sneaker for Spring, up until it gets warmer.
