Drake – Over

I’m real late on this but I just touched down from the Bahamas. When I first heard the song I didn’t like it, and after a few listens I’m still not too fond of it.  The drum infused song that he spits over anchors his voice in a interesting way. The chorus to the song is very harsh.  Overall the song is an inconsistent mess in my eyes.  The first debut song off his album “Thank me Later” was kind of disappointing as well. Especially after all of the hype he was built on. This must mean he’s saving the good songs for the album.

J. Cole > Drake, but that is for another time..

European Art= Unrealistic Expression

European Art at its finest

Type- European Art of the 1900′s

Camera- Nikon D40

Exposure- 1/30 sec

f-stop- f/3.5

Program- Adobe Photoshop Cs4 and Adobe lightroom

This picture to me represents the joyfulness of life.  This is one of my favorite pictures in my portfolio due to the subject matter.  I also like the picture because it represents repetition of form(when you repeat a certain size, shape, or color) and in this case it would be the squares.  Its really interesting to study how the Europeans depicted life, the babies were never small but always a certain size, i would say the artists really made the babies disproportionate which was common in all European art.

Apple Pads

For nearly a decade the tech world was waiting for Apple to introduce this. Today Apple had a conference where they finally introduced the Apple iPad to the public. The iPad is a tablet computer that measures 1/2 inches, weighs 1.5 pounds and is capable of browsing the web, playing videos, reading digital books and more. It features a 9.7 inch capacitive touchscreen IPS LCD display, 1GHz Apple A4 chip, 802.11n, Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR, 30-pin connector, speaker, microphone, accelerometer and a compass. Starting at $499 and going all the way up to $799 this is definitely a must.

The iPad will be to Macbook as Netbook is to PC – only you still type on your laptop at your desk. With the iPad you just relax. The iPad follows it’s counterparts – iPhone and Touch – with a multi-touch interface. With the iPad’s large screen you just see more of the Web as your surfing it. Apple made the iPad’s interface to be as natural and fitting to our lifestyles you don’t even have to think about doing something. You just DO! However, the iPad doesn’t have any USB ports – WHATTTTTTTTTTT!!!

I wonder if you can put Adobe software’s on the iPad? How does this effect the print industry – remaining newspapers & magazines?

Elegance at its finest

So every once in awhile you see a shoe that takes your breath away. These shoes resemble elegance and compliment your loftier personality. That’s how I felt when I seen the Burberry Lace up shoe. The shoes are from the 2010 Burberry Prorsum Collection. The dark patent leather with the soft leather really makes this shoe. These shoes are a classy pair and can be worn either suited up or casually. I definitely need these in the lineup
